Angels Never Die

In a world of darkness and no sound,

I feel your arms as they wrap around.

You showed me light and let me dance,

You believed in me and took a chance.

Even though you’re gone to a better place,

I can close my eyes and see your face.

My world is brighter because of you,

You changed the lives of everyone you knew.

Thank you for showing me all the little things,

You are an angel, so spread your wings.

Thank you Sue, Love Nicholas Fice

This is a tribute to Sue Jones, who worked with some of our Ontario children who have CHARGE Syndrome.  Sue was a consultant with resource servies at the provincial school for those who are visually impaired and deafblind, and travelled extensively within Ontario.  Sue began her career as an Intervenor in the early 1990's and moved to resource services several years later.  Many comment on Sue's dedication and her ability to understand and communicate wtih the children, using methods and techniques that were inspiring. She passed away in a tragic car accident on November, 8th, 2006.  Here is Sue with student Aman.

KISSING HEAVEN

The secret is out for all to see,

God sent me an angel, he sent you to me.

He needed you back and for that I am mad,

I don’t think he knew we would all be so sad.

I think he thought, that we would know,

That you would bring life, to a rainbow.

So when you see God, can you give him a hug,

And when you look down from heaven do I look like a bug.

Please tell him that we miss you,  so very much,

But if we close our eyes, we can still feel your touch.

We just have to remember all the good times we had,

Then we all won’t be so upset, so mad and so sad.

So get ready my angel, I am going to send you a kiss,

If you open your arms wide, you really can’t miss.

I know it has to travel a long, long way,

So when it is flying to you, I’m going to go play.

I will remember to smile, laugh, play and love,

As you watch down at all of us from heaven above.

LOVE NICHOLAS FICE
