Canadian Organization for Rare Disorders "Special meeting of Membership", April 8th, 2006 in Edmonton, Alberta. Submit memberships before March 29 in order to forward a proxy or vote at the meeting. Contact your CHARGE Syndrome representative. CORD's head office is moving to Ontario, and the CORD Membership Form here will have the temporary address where membership information should go. Forms submitted to the Alberta office will not be processed before the meeting. With issues such as the need for an "Orphan Drug Policy" now reaching the legislature, your support is important!
The National Canadian Deafblind and Rubella Association is sponsoring the 7th conference on deafblindness to be held in Winnepeg September 21 - 24, 2006. It has chosen "Celebrating Potential" as the theme. The conference has a wide range in audience, and presentations will be geared to both parents and professionals in many disciplines. We are hoping for a contingent of those with an interest in CHARGE Syndrome to attend.
