Organizations Dedicated to Promoting Technology
Networking is important, and is way of the future both in business and for the non-profit sector. We dedicate this article to three organizations who are making a difference for children and adults with disabilities, and who could be useful to those who have CHARGE syndrome.

reBOOT Canada provides refurbished computer hardware and technical support to charities, non-profits and people with limited access to technology. It accepts donations of equipment from companies and individuals throughout Canada and then refurbishes it as much as possible to distributes it through non-profit organizations when certain criteria are met. Another organization "Child's Play" has raised around $963,000 US for sick children in hospitals around the world. It is a Seattle-based charitable organization founded in 2003 that donates games, DVDs, books, and other toys to sick kids around the globe, including Canada, Britain, Egypt, and Australia. The objective of this organization is to helps sick kids go through uncomfortable treatments, giving them opportunities for distraction, fun, and some enjoyment while they are in therapy or during extended stays in hospitals. Tetra Society of North America is a non-profit charitable organization whose volunteers design and fabricate unique assistive devices for people with disabilities. Some areas where requests are made include aids for communication, eating or drinking, household work, mobility, personal care, recreation or vocational devices, and other tools. Some examples of things they have made include a specially designed bed; folding stairs for getting into the van; many unique devices for wheelchairs; even a special pole so a flag could be carried during an event!
